Volunteer Application

The Town of South Palm Beach has a need for spirited individuals. If you would like to volunteer, please complete the application below or contact Town Clerk Davenport via e-mail at: ydavenport@southpalmbeach.com . While you're welcome to apply at any time, applications are only considered when there is a vacancy on a board. Vacancies occur throughout the year. You're welcome to attend any public meeting of any board to familiarize yourself with its duties and members. Please access the Town of South Palm Beach website calendar to view upcoming meetings. I hereby certify that all the above statements are true, and I agree and understand that any misstatement of material facts contained in this application may cause forfeiture upon my part of any appointment I may receive. Note: This application will remain on file in the Town Clerk's office for a period of two (2) years from the date it was submitted. Per Palm Beach County Supervisor of Election's Office appointed members of each board must file an Annual Statements of Financial Interests (FORM 1) by July 1. If the annual form is not filed or postmarked by September 1, an automatic fine of $25 for each day late will be imposed, up to a maximum penalty of $1,500. Failure to file also can result in removal from the board. (S.112.3145, F.S.) This application will remain on file in the Town Clerk's Office for a period of three (3) years from the date it was submitted. It will be the applicant's responsibility to ensure that a current application is on file.
