CPZ Architecture Presents New Town Hall Conceptual Design, Floor Plans & Renderings at April 3, 2025 Public Workshop

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, the town's architect Joe Barry and Maria Zappas-Porter (CPZ Architecture, Inc.) presented extensive conceptual design, floor plans, elevations and renderings for our proposed new South Palm Beach Town Hall & Community Center. The elected Town Council still has numerous public meetings and legislative process to enact final decisions, steps and actions in the redevelopment process. Once designs, scale and mass, site works, engineering and budgetary parameters are finalized for the new Town Hall project, additional RFP bidding will occur to select a best construction operator entity to build and deliver the new facility to final fruition.

A new facility will be constructed on the site of the town's existing Town Hall property. This is the only public property within the Town jurisdiction, available for the purpose of redevelopment, updating and modernizing Town government operations, community-based programming and future expansion for community centered events and gatherings. Stay tuned to our public calendar for meeting  updates and opportunity to weigh in on the amenities important to you our residents.

May 14th, 2025 Update:
At the regular Town Council Agenda (monthly public meeting) May 13th at 2:00 PM, the Town's contracted Architectural firm presented comparative 2-floor and 3-floor versions of pending design configurations for our "Town Hall & Community Center" project. The Town Council reviewed the presentation of updated floor plans and renderings at the public meeting. After they received much public comment and discussion on relevant parameters, the Council voted (5/0) to proceed with a 2-floor configuration in the 10,000-11,000 sq. ft. range. The presentation of the Architects signature designs in 2 vs 3 floor versions, focused on size and scale metrics, allowing the council to move forward to the next phase task orders toward formal building design, technical configuration, engineering and development of construction bid documents for soliciting eligible construction companies by RFP.  Please reference the latest "2-FLoor Version" presentation visuals linked below.
