Welcome to our new permitting portal, MGO!

As of January 8, 2024, the My Government Online (MGO) portal is the means by which contractors will submit permits, sub-permits and their supplemental paperwork. It also allows access to the public to track work being done in Town!  Anyone can apply as a GUEST and track the progress of their permits in Town. 

Please note that permit applications DO NOT need to be notarized.  Documents needing notarization will be clearly labeled with notary language.

At this time, registration applications should either be handed in person or conducted in one email containing all the required documents.

We require that either a signed contract/proposal or the building valuation affidavit be provided in addition to documents suited to the job. Please refer to the permit check list for more information as to what is needed for future projects.  APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF ITEMS ARE MISSING.

***Upon approval of the Building Permit packet, physical copies of all the paperwork must be posted on the job site, along with the Permit Card.***

CONTRACTED VALUE:

Construction valuation shall include total value of work, including materials and labor, for which the permit is being sought, such as building, roofing, electrical, gas, mechanical, plumbing.

The Town of South Palm Beach Building Department shall assume no liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the information provided regardless of how caused.  Any decision made or action taken or not taken by user in reliance upon any information or data furnished hereunder is done so entirely at his or her sole risk.  The final determination of the permit costs will be made through the plan review process.
